In 1945, Anat's grandfather started
the Falafel and Shwarma family business and, two generations later, it's still
going strong.
1991: In South Africa,
Anat started from a mobile unit at Bruma Flea Market, now with over 30 stores
throughout the country -- Anat Falafel & Shwarma has certainly made its mark.
1999: Anat's Bakery was founded. It supplies fresh pita daily to all
our branches, as well as to major supermarket chains. Anat's Kitchens in Johannesburg
and Cape Town manufacture meat products, pickles and sauces for all our outlets.
