Fruit Pita Pockets Recipe
A piece of pita bread is a little wander unto itself — round, hollow, portable and convenient, too!
We love using pita bread because you can stuff them with any sweet or savoury filling. Always try for whole grain pita bread or whole wheat pita bread to make these fruit pita pockets healthy.
- 1 Whole wheat pita bread
- 2 Tablespoons Nut-butter
- 1 Sliced banana (or any fruit of your choice)
- ½ Sliced apple (or any fruit of your choice)
- Toast the whole wheat pitas and then cut them into halves diametrically.
- Open the halves, apply nut-butter and fill with sliced banana and apples (or any fruit of your choice) . Enjoy!
