Perfect Pizza Topping Combinations for Vegetarians

Perfect Pizza Topping Combinations for Vegetarians

January 1, 2020

Whether you are vegetarian or a meat-lover, pizzas are for everyone. Finding great vegetarian toppings can sometimes be a little more difficult, but once you have your favourites you are set for life! Anat’s freshly baked pizza bases are available in selected supermarkets across the country, and they make it easy to create your favourite pizzas at home.

We’ve put together some vegetarian pizza toppings to inspire you below.

Butternut and Chickpeas

If you’re a little tired of the standard tomato base, why not switch it up? Try a butternut squash base topped with chickpeas and broccoli instead. Find the recipe here.

Caramelized Onion and Sweet Potato

If you’ve never tried sweet potato on a pizza before, we suggest giving this recipe a go. When sliced thinly and paired with caramelized onions, ricotta and feta, you will find yourself with a new favourite pizza. See this recipe  here.

Goats Cheese and Balsamic Mushrooms

We know how much vegetarians enjoy their goats’ cheese, and with its gorgeous creamy taste it’s easy to understand why. The balsamic mushrooms add a lovely tangy taste to this pizza. Take a look at the recipe here.

Mediterranean Pizza

For this pizza, skip the tomato base and rather thinly slice your tomatoes and lay them on top of your cheese. Add some olive slices, salt and pepper, crushed red pepper flakes and fresh basil to serve. Try this recipe out here.

Spinach and Feta

A more classic combo for vegetarians is yet to exist! Combine these two, along with some garlic and pine nuts for added flavor and extra crunch, and you are good to go. Find the recipe here.

Many of the recipes listed here have options to make your own pizza bases, but with the freshness and wholesome goodness of our bases, there’s no need to do this. You can pick up a pack of Anat pizza bases from your nearest supermarket and then all you need to do is choose your toppings, assemble your pizza and bake. It’s as simple as that. Be sure to follow us on social media and let us know which recipe you enjoyed most.
